Duties & Responsibilities
The days scheduled to work are (Mon, Tue, Fri and Sat).
Driving trucks, front end loaders, backhoes, dozers, graders, forklifts and any other equipment that is required to continue operations of the Transfer station. It may be necessary to help with other jobs within and around the Transfer Station. This position is responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner in order to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life. This position operates under the standard daily operating procedure of an Equipment Operator, using heavy equipment related to job performed. Performs daily safety equipment checks, equipment operation check and complete load inspection reports. May require operating scales on a part time basis. Along with any other work assigned.
Reports public complaints/concerns to the Transfer Station Supervisor.
ACCOUNTABILITY: Reports to Transfer Station Supervisor
ENVIRONMENTAL: Outside 95% Inside 5%
Minimum Requirements
Experience driving heavy equipment required.
