Weightless is an ongoing program utilizing both group and individual wellness counseling with Registered Dietitians to promote improved health via systematic, incremental, and sustainable behavior change. Participants learn to THINK RIGHT, EAT WELL, and MOVE MORE on their path to obtaining a healthy body composition. 

Participants receive: 

  • Monthly Group Accountability Sessions

  • 6 Individual Nutrition Counseling Sessions per year

  • Bluetooth Body Composition Scale (tracks body fat, hydration, muscle mass and more!) 

  • Customized Nutrition Plan

Lunch & Learn

McDowell County offers Lunch and Learn as a great way for employees to come together and learn about various topics that assist in wellness and wellbeing.

As each new session is scheduled, a sign up form will be emailed to all employees. If a recording is available, it will be emailed and posted here.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Employee Assistance Network, INC. has 30+ years of experience in the EAP field. These services provide free, confidential (as required by law) counseling to employees and immediate family members. EAP services are an important means to provide a full range of help to people who are experiencing problems that may interfere with work performance.
